What is Xplore League?
Xplore League is an international robotics competition for schools and universities, organised by Firefly IO. It began as the Ghana Robotics Competition (GRC) and is growing to welcome teams from across Africa and around the world.
Is this still the Ghana Robotics Competition?
Yes. The Ghana Robotics Competition, or GRC, is now Xplore League. It is the same competition, run by the same team, on a bigger stage. If your school has taken part in GRC, you are already part of Xplore League.
Can teams from other countries join?
Yes. Xplore League is opening up to schools and teams from across Africa and around the world. Virtual Xplore League runs online, so you can register and compete from where you are.
Who can take part, and how?
Primary and junior secondary teams compete in the Tech League, senior secondary teams in the Stars League, and university teams in the Engineers League. Teams build and program robots to solve real-world challenges, and learners can also compete online in the Xplore IDE.
